Your presentation, and just thinking about Etsy in this context, kept making me think about Rachel Botsman’s ideas about reputation and trust online—given the importance of customer feedback for helping an individual ‘shop’ seem like a safe place to send one’s money. (Also, the Literacyhead aside was really interesting.)
